J-6 - Use to be Famous
Series 26 is a direct reference to the chosen color of the month that falls on the color wheel as dictated by mid century modern color theorists. These letters and numbers refer to the month and the colors that fall in this month. Korpi has set the series against the 12 colors playing with the 12 months. June inherits this color of yellow green, and Korpi created a little personalized poem to enlighten this artwork.
